Your Shopify catalogue in ChatGPT ads, and every sale counted
AK Chat Feed & Pixel sends your products to your OpenAI Ads account as a product feed, one for each country you sell to, and tracks what shoppers do on your store so OpenAI can count the sales its ads bring. Every product shows its state, and when one isn't in the feed you see the reason and the fix.
What it does
- Connects with one Ads API key: it tests the key at once, then sets up the website pixel, a server key and a Purchases conversion in your account.
- Builds the feed from every active product on your Online Store, one row per variant, with each market's own price, currency and language.
- Checks every row against OpenAI's product file rules before sending it, and shows each product as live, on its way, needing a fix (with the fix) or left out (with the reason).
- Sends price and stock changes within a minute of a save in Shopify, and the whole feed at least daily.
- Tracks page views, product views, carts, checkouts, purchases, sign-ups and contact forms from your store and checkout, sent from its own server so script blockers don't lose them, with one id per event so nothing is counted twice.
- Reports sales from ChatGPT ads and from ChatGPT's own answers, net of refunds, with spend and return on ad spend by campaign and by product.
- Lists the products ChatGPT isn't showing, with what would most likely help each one.
What it keeps
Your products' feed states, an event log without customer details, and your orders' numbers, totals and where they came from. Customers' emails, phones and names are hashed before OpenAI receives them and aren't stored by the app. The privacy policy has the detail.
Getting started
Install it from the Shopify App Store and paste your Ads API key (OpenAI Ads Manager: Settings, API keys). You can try it with the practice account first.
